We’re Ben Young and Andrew Pouw, ophthalmologists who met during Yale ophthalmology residency. We felt that reviewing for clinic, OKAPs, or boards is better when you don’t have to do it alone. Each week we’ll flesh out a new ophthalmology topic with the why and the how.

Where are we these days? After finishing at Yale as the Chief Resident, Ben moved to Michigan and is currently a Vitreoretinal Fellow at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center. Andrew stopped over in Baltimore for a year at Johns Hopkins’ Wilmer Eye Institute for a glaucoma fellowship, and is now a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Iowa’s glaucoma division.

We also get help tackling Neuro-Ophthalmology topics from Amanda Redfern, another former co-resident from our Yale days. Amanda is a Neuro-Ophthalmology Fellow at the Moran Eye Center of the University of Utah.
